The small wood section frame made from untreated NZ pine is put into the beehive where the bees build the wax comb. The fresh nectar coming in from the meadows is ripened into fresh honey and stored inside the comb. This honey is then sealed with wax by the bees to retain all the delicate flavor and goodness unique to honey.
